This year has been a big one for us. Since S P A C E 2017-2023 (which was how I started this effort and crowdfunding page, thank you!, to connect people and make zines), lots has changed. More people are making them, with me, in Art & Copy International Zine Club. Honestly, I think people are truly looking for, and appreciating, real places to slow down, meet, talk, write, share, and journal. Offline. In ways that feel real and generative, connecting us in ways that no algorithm or AI ever could. You can’t fake that so I think it’s been resonating.
