In search of meaning

Art. Writing. Philosophy. And conversation installations that invite new and different people to join, learn, connect, and discover. That’s my stuff: ‘wildly imaginative’ juxtapositions. Mostly on the spot. In short, brief exchanges that sometimes, if we’re lucky, lead to new thinking, new perspectives and even creative breakthroughs. Aesthetic moments… designing for these: that’s my speciality.

I did this for clients, founding DK in Seattle in 2005. DK’s specialty is open space design, which means it’s inclusive, inviting, divergent when it wants to be, convergent at other times, non-hierarchical, agendaless and, importantly,  meaningful, not trivial. Lately, I find myself consulting. I work virtually with a self-selecting community of people who are, like me, exploring in the same important ways. We’re looking for quality. Creating, too… in S P A C E.
